To Mum
Under a roof
That obscures the sunshine
In the hands of a wolf
She started her mission

Fifty-four years of submission
She was left alone
Trying to find a way of attraction
She did everything on her own

A sister , a daughter she was
God gave her in this world a special place
But while being a wife , a mother she turned into a slave
She always felt out of space

She wiped away many tears
And kissed all sorts of parts
She healed somehow broken hearts
And faded away many fears

She gave her love without a second thought
And gave hugs for no reason at all
She gave advice when our mistakes she caught
And held us tight whenever a tear would fall

She gave us the courage to walk alone
And endured many things just for our sake
She gave us the love of a real home
And the love that would be hard to fake

But I'm sorry mom for the troubles
The worries I brought to you
Sorry for my mistakes
And the pain you’re going through

I know that the pain is so unkind
'Cause you never left me when I was falling down
I know that deep you don't mind
I’ve got to admit I'm not maturely grown

You always showed me the right track
You gave me from this world the best
That you patted me from the back
That I couldn't pass the test

Living in your home for so long
I can show you now
That I did many things wrong
I'll move and I'll be on my own

That I'm going to show
That I never did well at all
you really need to know
That all I did to you by the time will fall
